Winncare Staff Training Video – Cardiff

The brief
The Five / Winncare project involved filming a staff training and seminar day at the Future Inn Hotel in Cardiff. Around four hours were available to capture the activity, useful supporting footage and short testimonials.
The final piece needed to show what happened during the session while also allowing participants to explain their experience in their own words.
Covering a live session and recording testimonials
Training continued while the filming took place, so the event coverage had to remain observational and avoid disrupting speakers or participants. A mixture of wider seminar shots, reactions and working details created the b-roll needed to describe the day.
Short testimonials were recorded alongside the event coverage. Keeping those interviews concise allowed several viewpoints to be included without taking people away from the training for long.
Creating two useful layers of coverage
The seminar footage establishes the setting and activity; the interviews add context and a human response. Capturing both within the same visit gives the edit more substance than either element would provide alone.
A compact four-hour shoot supplied both the visual record of the training day and the participant voices needed to explain it.
The result
The completed training video combines seminar b-roll with staff testimonials. It provides a concise account of the Cardiff session and a reusable way to communicate the character of the training to a wider audience.
