EVENT FILMING
CAPTURED CLEARLY. DELIVERED RELIABLY
EVENT VIDEO WITH A PURPOSE
Capture the event and create content that keeps working afterwards
South Wales Video films events at venues including Celtic Manor Resort and ICC Wales, the Senedd in Cardiff Bay and venues across Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Swansea and the wider region.
A discreet camera setup can record speakers, panels, audience reactions, networking, demonstrations and venue detail without getting in the way of delegates or guests. Clear sound is planned with the venue team where appropriate, with the visual coverage designed around the running order and the final videos required.
One event can produce a full recording for delegates, a focused highlights film, concise speaker or testimonial clips, recruitment and culture content, sponsor material, still photographs and social edits for promoting the next event.
Send the running order and the final edit you have in mind. We will identify the cameras, crew, sound and interview time needed to capture it efficiently.

Cameras and crew
Scale the coverage to the event
The right setup depends on the schedule, rooms, speakers, audience and the viewing experience required afterwards.
Focused single-camera coverage
Suitable for general highlights, vox pops, short testimonials and mobile coverage around a smaller event or defined part of the schedule.
Two-to-four-camera production
Recommended for talks, panels and performances where wide coverage, close-ups and cutaways make the final programme easier to watch.
Multi-area or larger events
Additional camera operators can cover parallel activity, several rooms, busy schedules or a combination of stage, audience and interview content.
Photography can be added using stills selected from 4K footage or a dedicated event photographer. Professional live streaming is also available for conferences, presentations and organisational broadcasts.

EVENT VIDEO FAQ
Practical answers before booking
For specialist coverage, see conference filming, stage and concert filming and live streaming.
What event information do you need?
Send the date, location, timings, running order, priority speakers or moments, parking and access details, and the final videos you want. We plan the filming around the edit before arriving.
How many cameras are best for an event?
One camera can suit general highlights, vox pops or a short defined recording. Two to four cameras are recommended for stage performances, talks and panels because they provide wide coverage, close-ups and audience cutaways. Larger or multi-area events may need additional crew.
Can you record clear sound from the venue system?
Where practical, we coordinate with the venue or audio team to take a suitable sound feed while using independent recording as appropriate. Tell us about the microphones, speakers and technical contact before the event.
What can you deliver after the event?
Options include full-length recordings, highlight films, concise interview clips, subtitles, HD or 4K files and agreed social versions. Raw footage is supplied on USB where required because of the file size.
How quickly can event videos be delivered?
Standard turnaround is normally three to five days. Same-day or 24-hour delivery may be available when agreed and scheduled at booking.
Do you travel outside South Wales?
Yes. We film events across the UK. Travel and accommodation may apply, and trusted camera operators can be brought in where this makes the production more efficient.
Have an event coming up?
Send the date, venue, timings, running order and the finished content you need. We will recommend the right coverage and confirm availability.
