The questions that usually decide the shape of the job
What should I send for a quote?
The location, filming date, what the video is for, rough finished length and anything unusual about access, crew, sound, drone, graphics or delivery.
The more specific the brief, the faster we can give you a useful price.
What video services do you provide?
Business and corporate video production including marketing films, case studies, training videos, explainers, event filming, site filming, interviews, editing and drone filming.
How much does video production cost?
It depends on filming time, crew, travel, locations, editing and the number of finished versions. See our current pricing guide for starting points, or send the brief for a specific quote.
Do I need a full production crew?
No. Many projects are handled by one experienced operator. Extra camera, sound, lighting, photography or production crew can be added when the brief needs wider coverage.
Can you work from our existing brief or storyboard?
Yes. We can work from an agency brief, shot list, storyboard, script or production notes. If the idea still needs shaping, we can help structure the filming before the shoot.
Do you travel outside South Wales?
Yes. We regularly work across Wales and elsewhere in the UK. For longer-distance projects, travel and accommodation are included in the quote where required.
What changes the quote?
Usually four things: how long we are filming, how many people are needed, how complicated the location is and how much post-production the job requires.
Filming time
A short local shoot is a different job from a full day, multi-day production or restricted-site visit.
Crew & cameras
One operator suits many jobs; larger events, interviews or productions may need additional crew or cameras.
Location & access
Travel, parking, inductions, escorts, site rules, restricted access and unusual working hours can affect the production plan.
Editing & versions
One finished film is simpler than multiple cut-downs, subtitles, animation, vertical edits, translations or extensive revisions.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE FILMING DAY?
We arrive with the setup agreed for the job, allow time for access and setup, then work through the priorities in the brief.
For interviews we normally allow time to light and test sound properly. For events and live sites we work around the schedule already in place rather than expecting everybody else to stop for the camera.
If a shot or section is essential, flag it before filming so it is treated as a priority rather than something we try to squeeze in at the end.

ON CAMERA
You do not have to be a professional presenter
Natural interview
Answer planned questions in your own words. We can remove pauses, restarts and the interviewer in the edit.
Script & autocue
Useful when wording must stay exact, particularly for technical, legal or tightly timed material.
Voice-over or presenter
If nobody internally wants to appear on camera, professional voice-over or presenter options can be quoted.
Editing, review and delivery
A first draft is supplied for review on edited projects. Practical revisions are then applied before the approved files are delivered in the agreed formats.
Turnaround depends on the size of the job and current schedule. If you have a fixed launch, event or publication date, tell us before booking rather than after filming.

Landscape, vertical, social cut-downs, captions and clean versions can all be included where agreed.
Original footage
For filming-only work, see our raw footage filming service. Large 4K jobs may be better supplied on SSD than uploaded online.
EDITING & DELIVERY
What happens after filming?
How quickly can you deliver?
Simple jobs can sometimes be turned around quickly; larger edits are scheduled properly. Tell us about any fixed deadline before booking so it can be allowed for.
Are revisions included?
Yes, normal review and revision stages are agreed as part of the edit. Major changes to the original brief, additional versions or new material may be quoted separately.
Can you add subtitles?
Yes. Burned-in subtitles, caption files and social-friendly versions can be supplied where required.
Can you provide music and voice-over?
Yes. Licensed production music and professional voice-over can be included in the quote where the project needs them.
Can you edit footage we have already filmed?
Yes. Editing-only projects are welcome, provided the supplied footage and assets are usable and the scope is clear.
Can you supply the raw footage?
Yes, when agreed. If you need filming specifically for your own editor or agency, see raw footage filming services.
How are large files delivered?
Smaller files can be delivered online. Large 4K projects may be supplied on an SSD or other agreed drive to avoid unnecessarily long transfers.
How long do you keep project files?
Do not rely on us as permanent archive storage. If long-term retention matters, arrange your own backup of final masters and any source footage supplied to you.

Drone, photography, sites and confidential work
Do you provide drone filming?
Yes. Commercial aerial filming and photography can be booked on its own or added to a wider production. See our drone filming service. Flights depend on the location, airspace, people, access, weather and the operating environment.
Can drone and ground filming be done on the same visit?
Yes, where practical. Combining drone and ground filming can be particularly useful for construction, property, industrial and location-based projects.
Do you provide photography as well as video?
Yes. Still photography can be included alongside video where the schedule and brief allow, or a dedicated photographer can be added when both services need full coverage at the same time.
Can you film on active or restricted sites?
Yes. We can work around inductions, PPE, escorts, NDAs, agreed safe positions and restrictions on what may be recorded. See site filming for construction, industrial and operational work.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Confidentiality requirements and any areas, screens, people or processes that must remain off camera should be identified before filming starts.
Can you livestream an event?
Potentially, yes. The venue, programme, audience platform, audio feed and available connectivity need to be checked before a live-streaming setup is confirmed.
Can you film interviews with more than one camera?
Yes. Two- and three-camera interview setups can be used when the production benefits from additional angles or when the interview needs to be cut more freely in the edit.
Do you work with agencies and remote producers?
Yes. We can work from your brief and supply organised footage to your editor or production team. See raw footage filming services.
