FEATURE FILM PRODUCTION

Narrative | Micro-Budget | Fiction

A new independent horror film is being developed in South Wales and we are inviting local cast and crew to get involved.

Who We Are Looking For

We are particularly interested in hearing from:

  • Actors (natural performances and emotional range)

  • Writers interested in story development

  • Aspiring producers who want hands-on experience shaping a film project

  • Camera, sound and lighting crew building credits

  • VFX post-production collaborators

Both experienced professionals and newcomers are welcome. If you’re passionate about storytelling and interested in working with other creatives in the region, we’d love to hear from you.

The Project

  • Character-driven psychological horror

  • Small cast and contained locations

  • Micro-budget independent production

  • Collaborative development with room for creative input

The aim is to bring together a small South Wales filmmaking team to develop the project and potentially take it forward to production and festival submissions.

Location

Development and filming will take place in South Wales, working with local talent wherever possible.

Interested?

Send a short message including:

  • your name

  • what role you are interested in

Micro Budget Feature Film

A micro-budget feature film is a full-length motion picture (90 minutes) produced with extremely limited financial resources, typically using small crews, a limited cast, real locations and minimal equipment. Instead of relying on large budgets, these films focus on strong storytelling, atmosphere and performance to bring the story to life.

Micro-budget productions often involve filmmakers collaborating closely and taking on multiple roles during development and production. They are commonly used by emerging directors, writers and producers to create original work, build experience and develop projects that may go on to festivals or larger productions.
