The brief
Satellite Finance required a short business promotional video filmed at its Newport workplace. With approximately four hours available, the production needed to gather enough material to explain the company without relying on a presenter.
A professional voice-over provided the narrative, while the filming concentrated on the people, workplace and business activity that could support it visually.
Building a clear film without a presenter
Using voice-over meant the wording could remain concise and controlled while the pictures showed the business in operation. The shoot therefore focused on purposeful workplace coverage rather than extended interviews or staged presentation.
Within the four-hour window, a range of wide shots, working details and staff activity was recorded to give the editor enough visual variety to carry the narration.
Matching pictures to the voice-over
The most useful shots were those that illustrated a specific part of the script. Planning those needs in advance kept the filming efficient and avoided collecting generic footage that would add little to the edit.
Voice-over allowed the company message to stay precise while staff could continue appearing naturally in their normal workplace.
The result
The completed film combines professional narration with concise workplace footage. It communicates the business in a direct format that does not require an on-camera presenter and was achieved within a limited filming session.
